Lights on the roofline, run from your phone.
Permanent architectural track that stays up all year and changes colour for every holiday — or a seasonal install we put up in November and take down in January. Same crew that runs your cable and your cameras.
Up once, or up every year.
There is a real choice here and it mostly comes down to how long you plan to stay in the house and how much you hate the ladder.
Permanent lighting
A slim track is mounted once under the fascia, tucked into the roofline where you do not see it in daylight. Every bulb is individually addressable, so the same install is warm white in February, red and green in December, orange and purple at Halloween and your team’s colours on a game night.
- Changed from an app — colour, brightness, zones, schedules
- Comes on at dusk on its own and goes off when you say
- Soft warm white year-round is what most people actually run it on
- Nobody climbs anything in December, ever again
- Wired properly into a switched outdoor circuit, not an extension cord
Holiday install & takedown
Traditional strings, cut and clipped to your roofline, trees and railings. We measure it, install it, come back if a run fails mid-season, take it down after the holidays and store it labelled so next year is a two-hour job instead of a six-hour one.
- Measured and cut to your house, not generic lengths
- Clips, not staples — nothing driven into the fascia
- Timers set so you are not doing it at the wall every night
- Mid-season callback if a section goes dark
- Takedown and labelled storage included in the season
One track on the roofline. Every colour, on a schedule.
The permanent system in plain words, with nothing hidden behind a brand name. If any of it matters to you, say so at the walk-through and we will show you how it behaves on your own house before you commit.
Every bulb on its own
The run is addressable bulb by bulb, so the roofline can be one solid colour, two colours alternating, or a pattern that reads right across the front of the house.
Zones
Roofline, garage, porch columns and the walkway can each be their own zone — lit, dimmed or left off without touching any of the others.
Scenes you name
A scene is a saved look — everyday warm white, Christmas, Halloween, a game night, a birthday. Pick it once and the whole property changes to it.
Schedules
On at dusk, off at the hour you choose, later on a Friday, and a holiday scene that starts itself on the date you picked and goes back to warm white afterwards.
Warm white, most of the year
Colour is what people buy it for; warm white is what they leave it on. Brightness is set per zone, so the front of the house can sit stronger than the side without anything being rewired.
One app, with the rest of it
Run it from your phone at the house or away from it, and it sits alongside the rest of your smart home instead of in an app of its own. If a bridge is needed to get it there, we build the bridge.
You will notice there are no numbers on this page — no lifespan, no brightness figure, no spacing, no per-foot price. Those depend on your roofline and on the parts the job actually calls for, so they come from the walk-through rather than from a web page. Call or text 631-871-5957 and we will measure it.
Storefronts, restaurants and plazas too.
The commercial version is the same track doing a different job — brand colours on the building all year, holiday colours when it suits, and a schedule nobody has to remember.
Storefronts
Your building outlined in your own colours after dark. It reads as open from three blocks away.
Restaurants
Pairs with digital menu boards and the Piet Box on the TVs inside. One company doing the whole look.
HOAs & plazas
Multiple buildings on one schedule, one app and one bill, with a single point of contact for the board.
Done with the cameras
If we are already on the roofline for lighting, running camera cable at the same time costs you one mobilisation instead of two.
Scheduled & forgotten
Dusk-to-11, weekends later, off on the dates you pick. Set once and it just runs.
Quoted properly
Measured off the actual roofline, with the power feed and the controller accounted for. No per-foot guess over the phone.
Try the colours on your own roof first.
Warm white and multicolour are completely different houses. Upload a photo and switch between them in the Design Studio — it takes about ten seconds and it settles most arguments.
The questions everybody asks
Can you see the permanent track in the daytime?
Mounted properly it sits up under the lip of the fascia and reads as a thin line in the shadow. From the street in daylight most people do not notice it. We will show you exactly where it lands on your house before anything goes up.
Does it damage the roof or the gutters?
It is fixed to the fascia with purpose-made mounts, not driven through roofing or hung off gutters. If your fascia is rotten we will tell you before we quote, not after.
What happens if a section stops working?
Call 631-871-5957. Permanent installs are supported like any other Piets system, and seasonal installs include a mid-season callback if a run goes dark.
How much does it cost?
It is measured per property — roofline length, number of runs, how the power gets there and whether a lift is needed all change it. There is no honest per-foot number to post, so none is posted.
Can I run it with my other smart home gear?
Yes. Piets already runs Home Assistant setups, and your lighting goes in the same place as the rest of your smart home — one app, one system. If a piece of your gear needs a bridge to get there, we build the bridge; either way you get a working setup, every time. Tell us what you already have at the walk-through.
